I had 2 more pages accepted for publishing last week so they will appear in upcoming Scrapbooking Memories magazines. Yay! I never thought my pages were complicated or stylish enough for publishing.

Storyboard Kits scrap night

I actually got some pages done at a local online kit's monthly scrap night - & had a great time. These photos are not too clear - I have to work out how to take photos of pages that are straight & not blurry! Any tips would be appreciated!

I've actually done something. Simple, but done.

For the Chatterbox LO I made speech bubbles in Word - it was heaps of fun. You can resize them, make the edges thicker & even rotate them so they face the way you are after. I then just printed them onto cardstock. The title I just photocopied the book cover onto cardstock.

The soccer match I used a kit from Scrapbook Savvy. They have the best kits - you can order online. Hopefully I am on a roll - the birthday later in the week may slow me down though - making a 'camera' cake. Mmmmm. Should be interesting!

Hopefully I haven't posted these before - starting to lose track. Haven't scrapbooked for over a month now as life got a bit too hectic. Hoping to be back on track this weekend :) Happy Mother's Day to all. I hope you had a great day.

Scrapbooking Memories Volume 13 No. 5, page 136 :)

I better get back to scrapbooking - it's been at least a few weeks now. Life has been so busy. Now I will have a week's worth of photos to scrap from our week in Melbourne last week. Needing to cull the 650 or so photos I took - don't see how they will all fit onto a page or two...

Published! YAY!!!

I just had my first 12x12 page published in Scrapbooking Memories magazine Vol 13 No 5 page 136! Yay! I never thought my pages were up to their standards but submitted anyway. So excited!

Olivia - oldies

For her birthday last year, we took Olivia to a local animal park (which she knew about) but then surprised her with an interactive animal experience with her favourite animals. To say she was thrilled, would be an understatement! There was even a baby marmoset, only a few weeks old. She got to feed them too (baby rice cereal).

Again, my animal whisperer with our dog, Ashee. So funny together.

Olivia's coach said that if they won the grand final of netball, he would come to the award ceremony in a netball outfit. He said that at the beginning of the season so they had forgotten. The whole scene was side-splitting!
